The death of an 80-year-old woman in Blackpool was not linked to her fall down an open manhole, an inquest ruled.
Jenny Ward fell down the manhole in her driveway in June after the cover was stolen. She died on 8 September.
After claims that Mrs Ward had been harassed by youths, Lancashire Police said they did not receive any calls about anti-social behaviour in the area in the three months before her death.
The inquest found there were no suspicious circumstances.
'Not on radar'
Police and local officials said they were not aware of any anti-social behaviour on her street or against her.
Councillor David Owen, said: "This has not raised itself on the radar.
"It has not come to the attention of local councillors. We have a very good relationship with the police, we have meetings with local residents.
"Residents are normally very quick to contact the local council if they get bad neighbours or petty crime."
Mr Owen said it was not known who took the manhole cover.
Pc Paul Michael, beat manager for Mrs Ward's area, said: "We regularly patrol this area but we have not been made aware that anti-social behaviour is a particular problem.
"We would encourage residents to report incidents to us so we can provide an appropriate policing response."
