Police had been looking for Owen Carl Roche (l) and his brother Direece
Two brothers have been arrested by detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of a care worker in Salford on New Year's Day.
Adam Delroy Lewis Steele, 23, was stabbed at the junction of Lancaster Road and Orient Road at about 0525 GMT.
Police had been searching for Owen Carl Roche, 21, and Direece Roche, 16, both from the Moss Side area of Manchester.
Owen was also wanted after escaping from Minshull Street Crown Court on 16 December in a different case.
He was facing an assault charge but smashed his way through a security screen on a dock inside the courtroom.
Both men were arrested on suspicion of murder a few hours after Greater Manchester Police (GMP) started an appeal to find them.
Mr Steele, from Irlam O'Th' Heights, had been at a New Year's Eve house party on the night he died.
As he left, he started a conversation with a group of people. It turned into a confrontation which ended with Mr Steele being stabbed.
His family described him as a "gentle, fun-loving and caring young man".
Two men, 18 and 26, have already been arrested on suspicion of murder and released on bail pending further inquiries.
