A man has been taken to hospital with a "severe injury" after slicing into his leg with a chainsaw while cutting down a tree in Rochdale.
The accident happened at Rooley Moor Road, Caldershaw, at about 20:00 BST on Friday, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue said.
A chunk of the tree came down, knocking the man on to the roof of a shed and causing him to cut into his leg.
Watch manager Paul Wilkinson said it was "a very unusual incident".
