Images of two men who helped people at the Hillsborough disaster have been reissued as part of witness appeals.

The pictures were reissued by the team set up to investigate the 1989 tragedy, in which 96 Liverpool fans died after a crush during an FA Cup game with Nottingham Forest.

In total, pictures of 92 people at the semi-final match have been released in eight appeals.

Of those, 45 have already been identified or have come forward.

Police said the latest images have been released for a second time after detectives spoke to two people they initially thought were the individuals pictured.

The men, marked B and C, are still being sought.

The images form part of Operation Resolve's witness appeal, launched at the request of coroner Sir John Goldring and the victims' families.

Investigators have urged people not to comment on the appeal or any other aspect of the disaster on social media and forums.

Images of those yet to be traced are available on the Operation Resolve website, external.

New inquests into the disaster are being held in Warrington, Cheshire.
