Northampton Saints star turned Gallipoli war hero

Northampton Saints full-back Ben Foden has traced the footsteps of one of the club's formers stars who was killed in Gallipoli.

Blair Swannell, who was a British Lion, was killed within just 15 minutes of landing on the Turkish peninsula.

Foden, who laid a wreath at the final resting place of Swannell, said: "To stand there knowing I have played on the same turf he did and walked his final steps in his last battle was incredible."
