A Nottinghamshire man whose wheelchair was stolen in a burglary says he has been left "devastated" by the crime.
It is thought thieves stole the grey, Mazda 5 Takara car, containing the wheelchair, after they broke in to the victim's house overnight on 21 June.
Matt Huckerby, 37, from Radcliffe-on-Trent has spina bifida and hydrocephalus, and said he was having to rely on friends to get around.
Anyone with information should contact Nottinghamshire Police.
Mr Huckerby said: "I rely on my car and my wheelchair to get around.
"With them both gone, I am now stuck at home. Neighbours and friends have offered to help, but I don't like to rely on people.
"I am devastated. I can't understand someone who would do this. They really are the lowest of the low," he said.
The car was displaying Mr Huckerby's blue disability badge in the window and had a tow bar attached.
The wheelchair is a blue, Kuschall K4-series model.
