A primary school in Somerset has been taken out of special measures within 15 months of its poor Ofsted rating.
Wellsprings School in Taunton was placed in special measures last May, but has now been rated as good after an inspection last month.
Inspectors said teachers had "responded with energy and enthusiasm", and that the quality of teaching was "often outstanding".
An additional headteacher was drafted in last May to help improve standards.
Jenny Venning, head teacher at Hugh Sexey's Middle School in Wedmore, an accredited National Leader of Education, was brought in to help resolve the issues.
Head teacher Mark Lunn said: "To move from 'special measures' to 'good' in just over a year is a fantastic achievement and, as the report states, it has been a collective effort.
"This judgement is supported by some exceptional Key Stage 2 test results we have recently received, illustrating the school's drive to be rated by Ofsted as 'outstanding' as soon as we possibly can."
Inspectors have recommended the school now concentrates on improving the pupils' handwriting and spelling in the youngest year groups.
