Golden eagle missing from Hemingstone aviary

The owner of a golden eagle missing for five days has released CCTV footage of the moment he broke his tether.

Stan, a five-year-old bird of prey, disappeared from his aviary in Hemingstone, near Ipswich, on 9 December.

Owner Kris Ford said: "He's very easy to spot and dwarfs buzzards."

Members of the public are advised not to approach the bird, should he be seen, but to contact police on their non-emergency number, 101.
