A motorist who was punched in a "road rage" attack in Surrey has been left needing plastic surgery.
Police said the man, in his 50s, was driving a white Transit van along Reigate Hill, Reigate, when he overtook a blue Mazda at about 0825 GMT.
As traffic slowed, the driver of the Mazda got out of his car and punched the van driver through the open window.
The suspect, who was of stocky build with olive skin, then got back into his car and drove towards Reigate.
Det Con Dave Every said: "This was a serious assault which has left the victim requiring plastic surgery."
