A man who was killed while working on a coach in Sussex has been named.

Daniel Haffenden is believed to have been changing a tyre on the vehicle in Royal Parade, Eastbourne, on Thursday morning when he was injured.

An air ambulance and paramedics were called but he was pronounced dead at the scene. An inquest will be opened and adjourned next week.

The Health and Safety Executive has been called in to investigate the 43-year-old's death.

It is believed Mr Haffenden worked for a tyre-fitting company in the town.
