Terry Davies died in his one-bedroom flat in September
A £10,000 reward has been offered for information about a West Sussex arson attack which killed a 24-year-old man with learning difficulties.
Terry Davies died in the blaze at his flat in South Terrace, Littlehampton, on 12 September 2013.
White spirit was used to start the fire near the front door inside his home.
Mr Davies' mother, Mitzi Price, said: "Even if anyone has the smallest piece of information, just a little snippet, all of it can add up."
"If anyone can think of anything from that night it could help," she added.
'Cost more lives'
Det Ch Insp Mike Ashcroft appealed for information to help "bring justice to Terry's family".
"This young man lost his life that night because someone started that fire in the property, a fire which could have cost the lives of the other occupants who had to be rescued by firefighters," he said.
"We need to find who was responsible. We are appealing to anyone who may hold any information, however small, which will help us with our enquiries."
A 29-year-old man from Bognor, who was arrested on suspicion of murder in February, had his bail cancelled in August.
Police also released a 22-year-old man from bail who had been detailed on suspicion of setting fire to a car in the town the day before Mr Davies' death.
