A marked police car was involved in minor collision with two other vehicles following a chase on Teesside.
One of the vehicles had been pursued by police, but this had been aborted before the incident on Kirkleatham Lane in Redcar on Tuesday.
A 16-year-old girl and a man aged 29 were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
Another man was arrested on suspicion of public order offences and criminal damage.
