Graham Gibson should not be approached, Cleveland Police said
Police have named a man they want to trace after the death of a woman at a house in Middlesbrough.
Graham Gibson is being urged to hand himself in to a police station. Members of the public have been warned not to approach him.
It follows the discovery of the woman's body at an address in Cherwell Terrace, Brambles Farm, in the early hours.
Mr Gibson is said to be in his 40s and 6ft 2ins tall. Police said it was a "targeted, domestic-related incident".
Neighbours 'shocked'
A force spokeswoman said people should not to approach him but dial 999.
The woman's body was found at around 01:00 BST, her name has not yet been confirmed by police.
A woman living on the housing estate said neighbours had been shocked by the news.
She said: "I was woken at about 4am and the police came round to talk to us.
"It's just rumours flying round at the moment.
"This is a quiet road of the estate. It's mainly older people who live here. Everyone just keeps themselves to themselves."
