A man has been charged with the manslaughter of a father who died after he was attacked on a night out in Hartlepool.
The 28 year old will appear before Hartlepool Magistrates' Court on 31 December.
Father-of-one Mark Dixon, who was 32, died a week after suffering fatal head injuries.
Cleveland Police said he was attacked in Victoria Road in the early hours of 5 October.
