Middlesbrough poet conductor's rhyming on rails

Train passengers on Northern Rail services are having their journeys brightened up by a conductor who makes all his announcements in rhyme.

Graham Palmer, who is based in Middlesbrough, says everything in rhyming couplets and has proved a big hit.

He said he enjoyed seeing people smiling and he said the best words to hear were: "I'm glad it's you."
