Boris Johnson: Dual all of the A1 in Northumberland

London Mayor Boris Johnson has said the entire A1 through Northumberland should be made into dual carriageway - despite the Government saying it will only dual part of it.

Mr Johnson visited Teesside, where he visited the Conyers School in Yarm and sampled a local delicacy - the chicken parmo.
