A section of the B6344 into Rothbury has been closed since the landslip on Boxing Day 2012
Repairs to a Northumberland road damaged by a landslip more than two years ago have again been delayed.
The B6344 at Crag End in Rothbury - one of the main routes into the town - has been closed since Boxing Day 2012.
The £9.1m project to reinstate and strengthen the road eventually began in March and was expected to last about six months.
Northumberland County Council said it would now not be completed until "early 2016".
Parts of the scheme were "progressing well" but "technical difficulties on one aspect" of the work had delayed the road's reopening, it said.
