Tynemouth surfing teenager to captain GB Boys team

A Tynemouth surfer has been selected to captain the GB Boys Surf Team at the ISA World Championships next month.

Louis Thomas-Hudson, 18, has been obsessed with riding the waves since he was just eight years old.

Now, after a tough selection process in Cornwall, he's been chosen to lead out the national boys under-18 team when they compete in the World Junior Championships in California next month.
