Finlay's teachers said he was full of enthusiasm for life and learning
A six-year-old boy who died when he was hit by a bus outside a Wiltshire primary school has been described as a "sunny" child with an infectious smile.
Finlay Connor and his mother were both hit by the vehicle outside Woodborough School near Pewsey on Monday.
His mother, Nicola Connor, remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
Teachers at the boy's school said in a statement: "We will all miss our smiley Finlay and his spontaneous hugs."
The statement said: "We have known Finlay and his family for two years and these tragic events have rocked all those who knew him and taught him during this time.
"He was a bright child and threw himself wholeheartedly into every activity. He loved electronics, dance and music.
"His peers will remember his sunny, kind and caring nature and his infectious smile - a good friend to all."
A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on bail.
The 52-year-old was questioned by detectives in Salisbury.
Police said it was believed the bus had just dropped children off at the school.
