A man has appeared in court charged with arson with intent to endanger life following a fire in a house in Wiltshire.
John Marshall, 57, of Eden Grove in Whitley, near Melksham, appeared before Swindon Magistrates' Court.
The fire started at about 03:30 GMT on Saturday in a row of terraced houses. No-one was injured.
Mr Marshall has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Swindon Crown Court on 14 February.
