John Welch and his partner Eileen Swannack were among 30 British tourists killed in Sousse on 26 June
A great-grandfather who was killed in the Tunisia beach attack was a "kind, caring and generous man", his family said on the day of his funeral.
John Welch, 74, from Corsham, Wiltshire was among 30 British tourists killed in Sousse on 26 June.
He and his partner Eileen Swannack, 73, who was also killed, had been visiting Tunisia annually since 2011.
Family and friends attended Mr Welch's private funeral service at Semington Crematorium in Wiltshire earlier.
Mrs Swannack's funeral took place at the Church of St Nicholas in Biddestone last week.
Mr Welch's family paid tribute saying he was "always willing to lend a hand" and "will be greatly missed by us all".
The retired plumber was born in Abertillery, South Wales, but moved to Corsham at an early age and lived the rest of his life in the town.
'Loved to socialise'
Mr Welch was one of three siblings, and had three children, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He met Mrs Swannack, a widow, following the death of his partner Nanette in 2005.

The couple had been together for nearly a decade and had been visiting Tunisia annually since 2011
"As well as travelling, he loved to socialise. We were so pleased when he met Eileen as he had someone special to share these things with," his family said.
In a statement, they thanked family and friends for "the support and kind messages we have received".
They also thanked the team at RAF Brize Norton and the Counter Terrorism Unit for "the dignified repatriation ceremony afforded to Dad".
"Our thoughts are also with Eileen's family and all of those who have also lost loved ones in this terrible event," they said.
