Disabled musician Nick Allen's recording studio is demolished by Wiltshire Council over a planning breach.
A musician estimates he is more than £220,000 worse off after his wheelchair-accessible recording studio was demolished over a planning breach.
Nick Allen had permission to rebuild a barn in Holt, near Bradford-on-Avon, but not to convert it into a studio.
Wiltshire Council said it contravened planning policy and must be removed - a decision backed by the Planning Inspectorate and the High Court.
Mr Allen, a wheelchair user, said the demolition "had destroyed a dream".

Nick Allen spent all of his money building the studio in Holt
"Nobody gains anything from this," he said.
"The council's not interesting in music or helping disabled musicians... I don't have the resources to do this anywhere else now."
He said the building had cost £160,000, and that he had spent a further £40,000 on legal expenses and £20,000 to £30,000 on demolition.
"It was such a beautiful building and so disabled-friendly," he added.
In a statement Wiltshire Council said it would "...always advise people wishing to build or make changes to plans to consult us first to avoid unnecessary expense".
