Suspicious object in Tomb Street security alert declared hoax

A security alert at the Royal Mail building on Tomb Street in Belfast is now over.

Army bomb experts were sent to examine a suspicious object, but later declared it to be a hoax.

The building had been evacuated during the security alert.

The alert began at about 1700 BST on Tuesday.
