The pipe bomb was found in Carnlough, County Antrim
A group calling itself the Loyalist Action Force has contacted a Belfast newsroom claiming it was behind a bomb attack on a house in County Antrim.
A pipe bomb was found in the garden of the house on the Ballymena Road in Carnlough on Wednesday night.
Police described it as viable and it was removed by Army bomb experts.
In a separate incident, a suspicious object found at The Roddens in Larne was declared a hoax. Seven homes were evacuated in the alert.
