Police in the Republic of Ireland have recovered a handgun and three improvised explosive devices.
The items were found near Celbridge in County Kildare on Thursday during ongoing investigations into the activities of dissident republicans.
A team of army bomb experts were called to the scene to examine the devices.
Gardai said no arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
