Some 100,000 fans have already visited the free exhibition, which has been in Canada, USA, Brazil and Holland.

The costumes made in Belfast for Game of thrones were lovingly created in minute detail and then muddied and scuffed to make them look used.

Northern Ireland Screen and the Tourist Board say the exhibition is a chance for tourism to capitalise on the success and notoriety of Game of Thrones.

The series has been enthusiastically supported by Northern Ireland's first and deputy first ministers, despite its risqué and sometimes very violent scenes.
