A County Antrim man has been remanded into custody accused of having a grenade.
David Matthew Gray faces a charge of possessing explosives in suspicious circumstances following a weekend incident at flats in Ballyclare.
The 51-year-old, of Main Street in the town, was arrested along with a second man on Saturday.
Police were called to the area amid reports of an incident between neighbours.
Gray is alleged to have been in possession of a flash-type grenade, according to the charge.
He appeared before Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday, the Courts Service confirmed.
Gray was remanded in custody to appear again next week when a bail application is expected to be mounted.
The 42-year-old man arrested with him on Saturday has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
