An Antrim care home company has denied the corporate manslaughter of a resident.
Ian McGoldrick, a director of McGoldrick Enterprises Ltd, pleaded not guilty to the charge which related to the death of a woman last April.
Mary Dowds died suddenly at Maine private nursing home, which was owned and managed by McGoldrick Enterprises.
McGoldrick Enterprises of Creevey Road, Antrim, also denied a further charge on the same date.
That charge was failing to ensure the health and safety of a non-employee.
The corporate manslaughter charge in relation to Ms Dowds death stated that "you managed or organised your activities in a way amounting to a gross breach of a relevant duty of care owed by you to the said deceased".
On Tuesday, a prosecution lawyer at Antrim Crown Court estimated the trial would last five or six days.
A defence barrister told the court that, in the meantime, they would be seeking expert reports in the matter.
Granting continuing bail, the judge listed the trial for next April.
