A window is repaired at the house after the attack
A woman and a child have escaped injury in a petrol bomb attack at a house in Carrickfergus on Friday night.
It happened at a property in Edenvale Avenue at about 23:30 GMT. The device was thrown at the front door.
The door was set alight and the two people inside, a woman in her 30s and a boy, were helped to safety by neighbours.
Two men were seen escaping towards a nearby primary school from where they are believed to have driven away.
One of the men wore a green Parka style coat with fur trimmed hood and the other, a hooded top.
Both were described as being less than 5ft 10ins tall and of slim build.
