A woman gave police this photograph of her deceased mother's handbag that was stolen
Thieves have stolen two handbags from a parked car while a family visited the grave of a relative who died recently.
It happened at the Church of Ireland in Kilmore, County Down earlier this week.
The bags contained a large amount of cash as well as items of sentimental value.
Police have issued a photograph of one of the bags, which had been owned by the deceased woman.
Appealing for information, PSNI Down said on Facebook, external that the theft was "bad enough but inside one of the bags was a picture of two females and a letter from a deceased family member, both of high sentimental value".
