The High Court in Belfast heard that the case raised "important issues" over anorexia care
A woman from Northern Ireland who is suffering from anorexia is to continue her legal fight against being sent to England for treatment.
Her lawyers have said her challenge will continue after a decision to keep her detained at a specialist unit under mental health legislation.
The woman is said to be in a "fairly chronic state of health".
A judge has imposed a ban on identifying the woman or the health trust involved in the case.
Seeking more time for both sides to prepare for the case, her barrister told Belfast High Court his client's health would not be further jeopardised by any adjournment.
"The doctors are able to cater for her adequately," he said.
He said the case raised "important issues" over the transfer of anorexia patients to England.
"There are issues about the impact and lack of funding for treatment of anorexic sufferers here in Northern Ireland," he added.
An application for judicial review is to go ahead in September.
