Conservatives: Miliband speech 'unbelievably misleading'

The Conservative Party chairman Grant Shapps MP has described Labour leader Ed Miliband's speech on the deficit as "unbelievably misleading".

Mr Miliband says Labour plans to tackle the nation's deficit in ''a fair and balanced way''.

But Mr Shapps said Labour's plans would still leave the UK with a deficit.
