David Cameron on 'serious allegations' against Lord Sewel

Prime Minister David Cameron has said it was right of Lord to Sewel to stand down from his committee posts.

Lord Sewel has been suspended by Labour and urged to resign from the House of Lords after he was filmed allegedly taking drugs with prostitutes.

Mr Cameron also said questions would be asked about Lord Sewel's position in the House of Lords, "if he is found to have been acting in this way".
