Scottish independence: Cameron in plea to Union supporters
David Cameron has said he is in Scotland to give "an unrelentingly positive message" to keep the United Kingdom together.
The prime minister was speaking at an army base in Glasgow, where he said it was vital that supporters of the Union spoke up for it.
He said: "It's very important that everyone who cares for our United Kingdom speaks up for our United Kingdom".
First Minister Alex Salmond had called Mr Cameron a liability to the "No" campaign, but Mr Cameron denied that there were splits within the pro-Union Better Together campaign.
