Secret filming shows legal high purchases

A BBC Scotland investigation has been examining the world of legal highs.

A member of the documentary team visited shops across Scotland known to sell legal highs, and made it clear that he intended to consume them.

Every single shop sold the substances, which is an offence under trading standards legislation.

The Deadly World of Legal Highs will be broadcast on BBC One Scotland on Monday 5 October, at 21:00, and afterwards on the BBC iPlayer.
