The fire had broken out inside a large machine holding wood chips
Firefighters have prevented a major blaze at one of the largest timber yards in Europe, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has said.
Two appliances from Fort William were called to the fire at BSW Timber in Corpach at 01:18.
The blaze had broken out inside a 15-tonne machine containing hundreds of tonnes of wood chips.
The SFRS said the crews used foam and water to extinguish the flames and stopped the fire from spreading.
