A 75-year-old man who went missing while on holiday on Skye has been traced after a police helicopter search.
Jim Tough from Cumbernauld was visiting the island with his family when he was reported missing from the Portree area.
He had not been seen since 10:00 on Thursday, when he went out walking with his dog.
Mr Tough was found safe and well and taken to Broadford Hospital for a check-up.
A police helicopter was drafted in to help with the search after concerns were raised for Mr Tough, who has dementia and was not familiar with the area.
