Two teenagers had to be rescued after getting stuck on a sea cliff in the Black Isle in the Highlands.

The boy and girl were stranded on a rocky cliff between Eathie and McFarquhar's Bed by a rising tide on Wednesday evening.

Invergordon lifeboat and a coastguard helicopter based at Inverness Airport went to their aid.

The girl was winched onboard the helicopter and the boy was picked up by the RNLI volunteers.

They were uninjured.
