Councillors have been asked to grant planning permission to new plans for a micro brewery in Inverness.

The owners of the Glen Mhor Hotel on the city's riverside were refused planning permission last year.

Councillors were concerned about the proposed scale of the project, as well as other issues including parking.

They will be asked at a meeting next week to agree with Highland Council planning officials' recommendation that the fresh plans be granted.

The hotel's owners believe the new proposals have addressed the councillors' concerns.
