The officer was injured at a house in Birch Row in Scone
A 98-year-old man has been arrested after a police officer was seriously injured in Perth and Kinross.
Tayside Police said officers went to a property in Birch Row, Scone, at about 1440 BST following reports of a disturbance.
They said a police officer sustained a serious injury to her arm and was taken to Ninewells Hospital where she will stay overnight.
Police said the incident was being treated as attempted murder.
