The fire broke out in the unoccupied hotel in the early hours
Police are investigating a fire at an unoccupied hotel in Perth which they are treating as suspicious.
The blaze broke out in the White Horse Inn in North William Street at about 02:40.
Fire crews arrived to find a well-developed fire on both the ground and first floors.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters had prevented the blaze spreading to a flat above the hotel.
