The 24-night run of the Enchanted Forest closed on Sunday
An annual light show housed in a Perthshire forest has attracted a record number of visitors.
The Enchanted Forest in Pitlochry's Faskally Wood attracted more than 46,500 people to its 2014 show.
The 24-night run, featuring sound and light installations among the trees, broke all previous box office records.
Organisers estimate the event brings in £2m for the local economy each year, while a new charity night raised £5,000 for national charities.
Almost half of the visitors to the event chose to stay in Perthshire overnight, and 90% said it was their main reason for visiting the area this autumn.
The 2014 show, titled Elemental, closed to the public on Sunday night.

The show is run by the Highland Perthshire Community Interest Company, and chairman Graham Brown said it was going "from strength to strength".
He said: "This is a tremendous success for Highland Perthshire tourism businesses and we are encouraged by the continued support of our visitors, many of them loyal visitors who return to the Forest year after year."
An additional show night specifically for charity raised £5,000 for Scottish Autism and the Children's Hospice Association Scotland.
Mr Brown said he was "delighted" to be able to help two charities that are "very active in this area".
The Enchanted Forest will return in October 2015, and a subscription list has been set up for people who missed out on tickets this year.
