A 9ft pet snake which had been reported missing in Dundee has been found - in its owner's home.
The search for the reptile was sparked when it disappeared in Portree Avenue in Broughty Ferry on Tuesday.
Police had issued a description of a snake 9ft (3m) in length, the "thickness of an arm", but docile and not a danger to the public.
However, on Wednesday morning officers confirmed that it had been found safe in the owner's home address.
