Supreme Court Article 50 issues 'go far beyond Brexit'

The Welsh Government is not trying to stop Brexit, a lawyer has told the Supreme Court.

Richard Gordon QC is presenting Welsh ministers' view as the UK government appeals against a High Court ruling that it needs the approval of MPs to trigger the Article 50 process to leave the EU.

Welsh ministers believe a win for the UK government would "significantly change" the basis of devolution.

Mr Gordon said "the constitutional issues at stake go far beyond Brexit".
