Ivory Coast: Laurent Gbagbo exit could cause 'greater violence'
Ivory Coast's incumbent President Laurent Gbagbo has said the country could face ''even greater violence'' if he were to resign.
The UN has said Mr Gbagbo lost recent presidential elections, but he has refused to leave office.
Some 200 people have been killed or have disappeared in the past month, mostly supporters of his rival, Alassane Ouattara.
Mr Gbagbo told Euronews his departure would not necessarily end the unrest.
The BBC's Mark Doyle reports from Abidjan.
