Landmark trial of former Chad President opens in Senegal
The war crimes trial is beginning on Monday in Senegal of the former Chadian leader, Hissene Habré.
He's accused of sanctioning tens of thousands of killings and widespread torture during the 1980's.
Mr Habré fled to Senegal from Chad 25 years ago. The trial in Dakar marks the first time one African country has prosecuted the former leader of another.
