Public sector workers in Guernsey have accepted a £9-a-week pay rise offered by the States.
The union Unite, which represents islanders working in the public sector, balloted its members on the issue and said they accepted the deal, with 55% voting in favour.
Deputy Chief Minister Allister Langlois said the States were "very pleased".
However, union Unite's Bob Lanning said a "poor" turnout showed a "massive dissatisfaction" with the offer.
There are about 1,000 public service employees in Guernsey including cleaners, maintenance staff, dairy workers and groundsmen.
