Three Guernsey teenagers arrested over driver assault

Three more teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of attacking a motorist in Guernsey.

It follows the arrest of six teenagers after the alleged attack in L'Abbaye Road, Vale, on Friday night.

A 15-year-old boy and two 14-year-old girls have since been interviewed and released on police bail.

A spokesman said a 40-year-old male was punched, kicked and kneed, receiving bruises to his face and various scratches in the incident.

It is understood the attack was carried out by a group of about 10 teenagers.

Police said the man stopped his vehicle when he saw the group blocking the road, beeped his horn and asked them to get out of the road.

Officers said the group then attacked him and his vehicle was also damaged during the attack.
