Egypt navy boat 'under attack by IS-affiliated militants'
Militants affiliated with the so-called Islamic State group in Egypt say they have carried out a missile attack on an Egyptian navy vessel in the Mediterranean.
The group, who call themselves Sinai Province, claimed the strike had completely destroyed the ship and killed its crew.
But the Egyptian military has released a statement saying militants exchanged shots with one of its coastguard boats causing it to catch fire, and there were no casualties.
