US Ambassador 'cautiously optimistic' on Afghan election

The US Ambassador to Afghanistan Karl Eikenberry has said that he is "cautiously optimistic" that the parliamentary elections would be seen as credible.

Speaking to the BBC's Lyse Doucet, Mr Eikenberry said that despite better procedures he expected challenges in the weeks ahead.
